I originally wrote this for TCP, it got no llove so I moved it to my blog.
These are 100 percent my opinion, feel free to disagree!!!
Here are mine:
1. Kirk Ferentz - 2 bowls wins, then 2 bowl loses, last year 6-6 and no bowl. He needs one this year, and it needs to be a big bowl, IMO.
2. Ty Willingham - Unimpressive the last 3 years.
3. Charlie Weis - They could have saved their money and let Ty finish out his contract for these results.
4. Dave Wannstedt - No bowling for Dave the last 3 years.
5. Greg Robinson - I bet the "Orange Alliance" feel like orange asses now.
6. Mike Stoops - Need a big season if he wants to stay at 'Zona.
7. Steve Kragthorpe - C'mon U of L has football "tradition"! lol!!!
8. Hal Mumme - Goin 0-12, 3-9, and 4-8 in his first 3 seasons hasn't helped him, neither did the ACLU scandal. Mumme could be done at NM St.
9. Randy Shannon - The former linebacker got in over his head trying to save his alma mater, Unfortunately it is going to take year Mr. Shannon doesn't have.
10. Steve Spurrier - I know he had the Gamecocks up to #6 in the nation last year but they ended up finishing 6-6, and he's had already 4 seasons in Columbia. SEC fans and alumni can be ruthless.
Honorable mentions:
Bobby Bowden - FSU, Mike Sanford - UNLV , or Tim Brewster - Minnesota
I had Bowden at number 8 but after talking to some people familiar with FSU they say while the university may grow frustrated with BB he will retire before they ever tried to terminate him.
This is just what I think, Let me see your top 5 or 10.

I have the Cats with 24 wins in the regular season, I feel that they will find their groove and tempo just in time for SEC play, and possibly a deep SECT run!
News from this morning is that Quarterback Curtis Pulley has been dismissed from the team. Coach Brooks said this morning that new information had come to light in the legal troubles of Pulley. This basically sums up the QB battle that was scheduled to start in the opening day of camp today. Mike Hartline will be the starter with Will Fidler as the backup.
Personally I applaud Coach Brooks for taking this stance. Heck, it was basically my idea if you read my last post.
This is R.Fox, Go Big Blue!!!
Coming off back to back seasons that included beating in state rival Louisville, SEC juggernaut and eventual BCS champion LSU, back to back Music City Bowl wins, and having four players drafted in the 2008 NFL draft Kentucky football is at an all time high.
As we head in to the upcoming season there are some notable differences in this years squad. Possibly the most glaring difference is the departure of quarterback Andre Woodson, who was drafted in the 6th round by the New York Giants. It seemed that Woodson's backup Curtis Pulley would finally get his chance to take the majority of the snaps until news came down that Pulley had been involved in some legal issues twice in as many months, without reporting them to the team or head coach Rich Brooks. Pulley was cited on June 12th, 2008 in Louisville for possesion of marijuana, then was arrested July 22nd for traffic violations.
Now the starting job is up for grabs and Pulley's role on the team is in question. Or it should be. I have heard different things about the possible length of his suspension or discipline that could be taken by coach. Mike Hartline has overtaken the starting position as of now, and I believe that it should stay that way. As far as Pulley's status with the team, I am more apt to taking a harder stance. He should be dismissed, not suspended or given a little slap on the wrist. He hsould be kicked off the team completely. Now I know, the possesion charge is really that serious, and the traffic violations aren't all the bad either but what should do Curtis in iis the fact that he failed to report this to his team. The quarterback is the commander on the field, He should be a leader, be a man, and take responsibility for his actions on and off the field.
I understand that Curtis Pulley is probably the best option for our football team but at what price do we jeprodize the integrity of the team, and university. What kind of example would Coach Brooks be setting if he let's Curtis Pulley get away with this behavior. He would not be doing any favors for anyone by just letting this slide. With ESPN reporting some NBA, NFL, MLB, or college players arrest almost on a daily basis, it is time for someone to stand up tp these guys and say "Hey, you are getting a free education and unbelievable life experiences, You need to man up Mr. Pulley. You ain't gotta go home, but you sure as hell can't stay here!"
Thanks for reading!
